ABOUT ME

My name is Lindsay Benson M.S.,LPC and I  have been a working as a therapist for over fifth-teen  years.  Most of my experience has been helping people with trauma. I have been an animal lover ever since I can remember. I grew up on a farm and have respect for all animals. My dog Gus died at age eight of cancer in 2012 and that experience sparked a desire in me to help others as they deal with pet loss. I completed a training through the Association for Pet-Loss and Bereavement in order to become a certified pet loss and bereavement therapist. I wanted to start a support group in my late dog’s honor. My miniature schnauzer Gus was a loyal friend who I loved dearly. He touched many people during his life and helping others through his death is a legacy that he would be proud of.
