Hello,

a bit about me:

Hello, I'm Lindsay Benson M.S.,LPC. I provide individual therapy in a supportive setting. I strive to help others find balance and peace in their life. I believe that we all have the power within us to heal past hurts, love ourselves and create the life we want. My goal is to equip others with the knowledge, skills and insight needed to enjoy life. I like to partner with people and assist them to alter their limiting beliefs and perceptions about themselves and others; and to empower people to utilize their inherent strengths and potentials. I enjoy helping others overcome self confidence issues and discover their own self worth. I focus on improving anxiety, anger and depression. I am a certified Pet Loss Therapist and have specialized training in working with grief. Additionally, I have extensive training and experience in overcoming trauma.  I am also a Certified EMDR Therapist. 

 

I use an eclectic treatment approach. I believe that everyone is a unique individual and should be treated as such. Having worked in the mental health field for 16 years I have training and experience in working with several different treatment modalities. However I like to get to know my clients as an individual and create an individualized approached based on their goals and needs.
